# How Can I Delete My Account?

||| Please note that only the account owner can request an account deletion.

To delete the existing Friendly Captcha account you need to navigate to Dashboard >> Account >> Manage. In the top right corner, there is a red button with a garbage can. Clicking on it will open the Account Deletion Request in a new window.

We are always interested in improving our captcha and service. Therefore, a reason must be selected why the account should be deleted. This helps us to further improve our service.

After clicking the button "Request Deletion", a deletion request will be sent to our support team, who will review the request for security reasons and then permanently delete the account.

After the successful deletion, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail.
