# Can I Translate the Friendly Captcha Widget?

Yes you can! It is already implemented and you don't need to manually translate anything. You just need to set the _data-lang_ attribute, and the captcha changes the language. 

Friendly Captcha ships at the moment with 29 different languages. English, French, German and many more are available.

With v2 of Friendly Captcha, translation has become much easier. In most cases you don't have to do anything. The widget will match the language of your website. The widget looks at the first HTML attribute _lang_ above itself to determine the language to use.
